Synopsis
We are becoming increasingly deafer. Hearing loss is growing daily around the world in people of all ages. The number is high because of genetic causes and also because of preventable causes such as noise. Millions of people are affected, but only a few recognise the problem and seek solutions. Most people are able to benefit from hearing aids, but only a small minority do.
