Minimal Films is an audiovisual production company that was set up by Albert Solé in Barcelona in 2008. Although we initially specialised in documentary productions in our early years, we have since expanded into other areas and styles: feature films, shorts, transmedia, etc. Our projects deal with very diverse subjects and viewpoints, from historical and social issues to science, culture, adventure and music. Our productions are aimed at both cinemas an TV broadcasters or computer and smartphone screens. We like to provide a platform to people who usually do not have one.
Throughout our history, our works have been recognised by some of the major film awards, such as the Goyas, Gaudís, Biznagas from the Málaga Film Festival and many more, both in Spain and France, as well as Mexico, USA, Argentina, Germany, Ireland, etc., accumulating almost 50 national and international awards.
Our other important line of work is focused on audiovisual materials for companies and institutions, company branded content and storytelling, which has led us to work for many major brands and has also won us awards such as Inforpress for Best Corporate Communication of the EU-sponsored Citizenship Award. These types of works have proven to be a major corporate communication tool.
We are currently continuing to develop new dreams, new projects and new productions, convinced as we are of the overwhelming force of stories that are well told.
