The call for the SOLE TURA Award starts, inviting audiovisual artists to submit a documentary work on the theme of neurodegenerative diseases. The award, headed by Albert Solé, is sponsored by the Uszheimer Foundation and the ESCAC Foundation . See the competition rules here.
December 2009:
Bucharest, Memory lost wins the award Mediterranean Memory at the Center for Audiovisual Communication Festival (CMCA), held this year in Marseille, France.
Mina, dreams of freedom, documentary directed by Albert Solé and produced by Carolina Partners, wins the award for best documentary and best production at the Festival Pantalla de Cristal of Mexico City.

Bucharest, Memory Lost, nominated for Prix Europa. The prize is awarded by the Council of Europe and the European Cultural Foundation. It is the only spanish documentary nominated for TV Documentary category.
September 2009:
Albert Solé presents Bucharest, Memory Lost in London in the London Spanish Film Festival. On September 22 the film is projected, and on September 23 Albert Solé participates in a debate about historical memory.
July 27, 2009:
Albert Solé presents Bucharest, Memory Lost in summer courses at El Escorial, Universidad Complutense de Madrid, in the New Spanish Filmmakers Cycle film.

Bucharest, Memory Lost wins the award for Best Screenplay (Albert Solé) and Best editing (Ibon Olaskoaga) in the Iberoamerican Memory Festival of documentary filmmaking 2009 celebrated in Mexico.
